NAMIC works to ensure that the telecommunications industry reflects our world. The National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications - NAMIC educates, advocates and empowers for multi-ethnic diversity in the telecommunications industry. Members of NAMIC are cable operators, programmers, hardware suppliers, telecommunication and new media professionals and entrepreneurs. They are of every race, multiple cultures - and they are all committed to a future in which these differences are strengths.
NAMIC is continually growing and working toward change.
NAMIC's success lies in not only focusing on industry-wide initiatives, but also in our commitment to individuals. Our leadership development programs give the tools for professional growth, ensuring people of color will be a major part of the power base in the new millennium. NAMIC chapters work to build skills, create networking opportunities, participate in innovative programs and cultivate and develop leaders. To learn more about NAMIC, go to www.namic.com.
