NBC Universal Cable continues it's goal to support digital and interactive media curriculum in schools by awarding grants to schools. A $1000 grant will be awarded to the school of the students winning the National Essay Contest. A $500 grant will be awarded to the school of the students winning the Digital Media Project competition.

Grants will be awarded to schools on behalf of NBC Universal and the local cable operator hosting the program in the community.
